MOORHEAD, MINN. – The Minot State University wrestling team lost to Minnesota State University Moorhead on Friday evening earning three individual wins resulting in a 30-9 final score.
Forfeiting the 125 and 133 weight classes for the third-straight dual, the Beavers found themselves down by 12 before competition began.
In the first match an MSU wrestler competed in,
Tanner Crissler (141, So., Belcourt, N.D.) won in a close 4-3 match without scoring in the final period.
At 157,
Marcus Polak (Sr., Minot, N.D.) went into the third period tied 4-4. Earning a takedown, Polak won the second match for the Beavers 6-4.
Mitchell Eull (HWT, Jr., Buffalo, Minn.), won his 20th match of the season with a 2-0 victory in the final match of the dual.
Minot State will compete in its final dual of the season at the MSU Dome against Northern State University. The NSIC matchup will begin at 7p.m.
