MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team returns to the Minot State Dome this weekend after playing five consecutive matches on the road. The Beavers will host Minnesota Crookston on Friday at 6 p.m. before facing Bemidji State on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Sophomore
Shelby Spuller carries the Minot State offense with 3.28 kills per set.
Emily Falldorf has notched 142 kills while
Brileigh Boyce and
Jeanne Brenner have added 131 and 130 kills, respectively.
Junior
Kelsey Dewulf paces the Beavers with 8.82 assists per set.
Hayley Swain leads Minot State with 0.82 blocks per set, followed by Falldorf with 0.72 blocks per set.
Karli Koza ranks fourth in the NSIC with 5.11 digs per set. Koza was selected as the NSIC Defense Player of the Week on Oct. 9 for her 56-dig weekend vs. No. 17 Wayne State and No. 21 Augustana.
Scouting the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles
Minnesota Crookston comes into the weekend with a 5-16 (2-11 NSIC) record this season. Kassi Green ranks fourth in the NSIC with 4.06 kills per set. Kaycie Hagen dishes out a team-high 8.70 assists per set while Kelci Green leads the defense with 0.86 blocks per set.
Head coach Sarah Rauen is in her first season at the helm of the Golden Eagle program and carries a career record of 5-16.
The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series with the Beavers, 14-10. Minnesota Crookston edged Minot State in five sets earlier this season in the Max & Erma's Classic hosted by Northern State in Aberdeen, S.D. on Sept. 9.
Scouting the Bemidji State Beavers
Bemidji State enters the weekend with a 3-19 overall record and 0-13 mark in the NSIC. The Beavers will face UMary on Friday night before battling Minot State on Saturday. Mikhaila Ness and Anna Averkamp lead BSU with 1.80 kills per set while Sami Leach follows with 1.75 kills per set. Maddie Filipiak leads the Beavers with 0.80 blocks per set.
Head coach Kevin Ulmer is in his second season at Bemidji State and holds a career record of 10-41.
Bemidji State leads the all-time series with Minot State, 9-4. In their previous meeting this season, MSU defeated BSU 3-1 in Minot, N.D. on Sept. 2.
