MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team hits the road for the final time this season, as they travel to face a pair of Top 25 teams. The Beavers travel to Winona, Minn. to face No. 15 Winona State on Friday at 6 p.m. and Fayette, Iowa to take on No. 25 Upper Iowa on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Sophomore
Shelby Spuller carries the Minot State offense with 3.26 kills per set.
Emily Falldorf has notched 170 kills while
Jeanne Brenner and
Hayley Swain have recorded 146 and 140 kills, respectively.
Junior
Kelsey Dewulf paces the Beavers with 8.96 assists per set.
Swain leads Minot State with 0.80 blocks per set, followed by Falldorf with 0.73 blocks per set.
Freshman
Karli Koza ranks third in the NSIC with 5.23 digs per set. Koza was selected as the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 9 for her performance vs. No. 17 Augustana and No. 21 Wayne State.
Scouting the Winona State Warriors
Winona State enters the weekend with a No. 15 ranking in the AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll and a record of 17-7 on the season, including a 11-5 mark in the NSIC. Danielle Rampart is seventh in the NSIC with 3.67 kills per set while Maria Wrage and Maria Fruechte add 2.75 and 2.23 kills per set, respectively. McKenna Larsen is sixth in the NSIC with 10.51 assists per set. Wrage leads the Warrior defense with 0.62 blocks per set.
Head coach Joe Getzin is in his fourth season at the helm of the Warrior program and has registered an 83-31 record with the Warriors and an overall record of 277-290 in his 20 years of coaching.
Winona State leads the all-time series with Minot State, 6-1. The Warriors swept the Beavers earlier this season in Minot, N.D. on Sept. 30, 2017.
Scouting the Upper Iowa Peacocks
Upper Iowa comes into the weekend with a No. 25 ranking in the AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll and a record of 18-7 (9-7 NSIC) this season. Anna Winter paces Upper Iowa with 3.22 kills per set, followed Haley Weepie with 2.76 kills per set. Malissa LeClaire is ranked eighth with 9.49 assists per set. Bethany Lovhaug leads the NSIC with 1.29 blocks per set.
Head coach Aaron Nelson is in his seventh season at Upper Iowa and holds a career record of 96-104.
The Peacocks lead the all-time series with the Beavers, 6-1. Upper Iowa swept Minot State earlier this season in Minot, N.D. on Sept. 29, 2017.
