GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Senior Mitchell Eull and sophomore Dean Arevalo each went 3-0 on the day as the Beavers posted a 1-3 dual record on Friday at the Battle of the Rockies.

Minot State opened the day with a 27-17 victory over Eastern Oregon before dropping consecutive duals to Simon Fraser (26-15), Providence (45-9) and McKendree (34-3).

Tanner Crissler and Zach Berry notched a pair of wins on the day for Minot State, while Joshua Juarez, Keegan Berry and Tyler Sharron also won for the Beavers.

Arevalo, Tanner Crissler, Zach Berry, Joshua Juarez, Keegan Berry and Eull all posted wins in the Beavers victory over Eastern Oregon. Eull posted a fall victory over Taben Mansarey to cap the Minot State victory.

Arevalo, Tanner Crissler, Zach Berry and Eull posted wins in the Beavers loss to Simon Fraser, while Arevalo and Sharron posted victories against Providence.

In the Beavers final match of the day, Eull was the only Minot State wrestler to post a win as he defeated Christian Boyles of McKendree in the heavyweight division.

Minot State, which dropped to 1-4 in dual meets on the season, returns to action on Saturday (Dec. 2) when it competes in the Heritage Inn Open.
