(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State women's basketball team is set for another weekend of NSIC action when Northern State and MSU Moorhead come to town.
 
The Beavers will face the Wolves of Northern State on Friday, Dec. 13 at 5:30 p.m. for Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night. The game versus MSU Moorhead will be played this Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m.

Minot State is coming off an 80-56 loss to St. Cloud State in their last game.
 
Series History 
           
      vs. Northern State

• Northern State holds the historical advantage over Minot State 30-6.
• The Wolves have won seven consecutive games versus the Beavers.
• Northern State won both of last season's games 73-68 in Minot and 57-54 in Aberdeen.
• The Beavers last victory came in 2015 by a score of 69-61.

      vs. MSU Moorhead

• MSU Moorhead leads the overall series 23-5 dating back to the 1974-75 season.
• The Dragons are currently on a 10-game winning streak against the Beavers.
• Minot State's most recent win versus MSUM came in blowout fashion when the Beavs won 79-56 in 2014.
• The Beavers are averaging just over 63 points per game in the all-time series.

• Mariah Payne leads the Beavers in scoring with an average of 18.3 ppg.
• Calli Delsman is second on the team in scoring average with 8.9 ppg, leads the team in assists with 23, and is tied with Anna Counts for the team-lead on the glass with 38 total rebounds.
• Delsman also leads the squad in steals with nine.
• Haley Hildenbrand has been the most efficient shooter for the Beavers with a shooting percentage of 66%.
• Counts has a team-high seven blocks.

      Northern State

• The Wolves will bring a 6-3 overall record and 2-1 NSIC record into the weekend.
• Northern State has won four straight games.
• Lexi Wadsworth (13.8) and Brianna Kusler (13.6) lead the team in scoring average.
• Kusler has the team-lead in rebounds with 77 total boards followed Wadsworth with 55.
• Sophomore guard Shariah Smith leads the Wolves in assists with 24.
• Kusler, along with Jessi Marti, have a team-high 11 steals.
• Junior forward has a team-best six blocks.

 
      MSU Moorhead

• The Dragons have an 8-2 overall record and an undefeated 3-0 mark in league contests.
• MSU Moorhead is currently ranked 24^th in the latest WBCA Coaches Poll and 22^nd in the newest D2SIDA rankings.
• Defending NSIC North Division Player of the Week Megan Hintz leads the Dragons in scoring (17.5 ppg), rebounds (88), blocks (12), and free throw percentage (59%).
• Sarah Jacobson is averaging 3.4 assists per game.
