WINONA, Minn. – Despite trailing for nearly the entire first 32 minutes, the Minot State women's basketball team pieced together a late surge to take the lead in the fourth quarter, but couldn't hold on as the fourth-seeded Winona State Warriors recorded a 63-57 victory in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Basketball Tournament on Wednesday night in Winona, Minn.
Minot State concludes the 2018-19 season with a 13-16 overall record.
