Beavers continue undefeated conference play with 1-0 win over Winona State

Minot State. improved to 6-2-0 overall and 5-0-0 in NSIC play after the win.

How it Happened

MSU grabbed a 1-0 lead when Sofia Lewis notched her fifth goal of the season in the 70th minute, assisted by Lainey Sandberg. The lone goal held in the 1-0 game.

Game Notes

  • Maddie Kindred totaled seven saves for the Beavers out of nine total Warriors shots.
  • Minot State registered five shots on goal.

The Beavers will be back in action Sunday Oct. 3 at noon when they face the Upper Iowa Peacocks (5-2, 3-2 NSIC).
