Beavers and Wildcats battle to scoreless tie

WAYNE, Neb. -- Minot State and Wayne State played to a 0-0 overtime tie Sunday on the road at the WSC Soccer Complex.

The tie moved the Beavers record to 9-3-1 overall and 8-1-1 in NSIC play.

How it Happened

Minot State recorded 17 shots in the scoreless tie, nine of them on goal. The Beavers held Wayne State to only five shots with just one shot on goal. Maddie Kindred led MSU with one save.

The Beavers will look to bounce back from their first conference loss as they turn to home to face the team they're currently tied in the NSIC standings with... the Minnesota State Mankato Mavericks (10-2-1, 8-1-1 NSIC). The Beavers will wrap up the weekend with a matchup against the Concordia St. Paul Golden Bears (7-5-1, 6-3-1 NSIC) on Sunday with kick-off set for noon.
