WINONA, MN --The Minot State volleyball team could not overcome an opposing Warriors offense Friday on the road falling to Winona State in three sets (9-25, 15-25, 22-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 2-14 overall and 1-7 in NSIC action.
Emily Kotelnikoff finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Beavers offense and got nine digs from Milena Cernjanski to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | A 25-15 set-two loss put Minot State in a 2-0 hole in the match. Minot State trailed by as many as 10 points as Winona State grabbed the advantage for good at 4-3 in a set that was tied up three times before the Warriors took over the lead.
SET 3 | Winona State finished the sweep with a set-three victory. The Beavers couldn't persevere past a furious Winona State rally, losing 25-22 after leading by eight points at 16-8 earlier in the set.
