FREMONT, Neb. – The Minot State women's hockey team came up with a pair of third-period goals, charging hard, but fell 6-2 at No. 3 Midland on Saturday.
The host and third-ranked Warriors scored three goals each in the first and second period for a comfortable 6-0 lead before the Beavers (20-9-1 overall) made their charge.
Jordan Kulbida scored an unassisted, short-handed goal 10 seconds into the third to get Minot State on the board, then
Mia Mckee closed the gap to the final 6-2 mark late in the third, scoring off a
Makenna Beard assist.

Jordan Ivanco teamed up for 30 saves on the day for Minot State, which will wraps up the regular season with another game at Midland on Sunday at noon.
