MANKATO, MN --The Minot State volleyball team could not overcome an opposing Mavericks offense Friday on the road falling to Minnesota State in straight sets (19-25, 22-25, 17-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 1-13 overall and 0-7 in NSIC action.
Madelynn Boop finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .276. got 16 digs from Kelci Madrid along with five blocks from Mia Thompson to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-19. Minot State trailed by as many as six points as Minnesota State grabbed the advantage for good at 13-12 in a set that was tied up six times before the Mavericks took control.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped set two 25-22 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Minnesota State grabbed the advantage for good at 17-16 in a set that was tied up eight times before the Mavericks took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | Minot State could not win the third set and was swept by Minnesota State. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-17.
