MINOT, N.D. – A stellar season on the pitch continues to earn the Minot State women's soccer team awards as Morgen Fried and Anna Miotto were each honored by the United Soccer Coaches (USC) as they were named to the All-Central Region team.

Fried, a senior defender from Sherwood, Oregon, was named to the All-Central Region First Team while Miotto, a freshman forward from Riehen, Switzerland, was named to the All-Central Region Second Team.

This is the first time both have been named to the All-Central Region team. Both Fried and Miotto were named to the All-NSIC Second Team last month.

Miotto, who also was named the NSIC Freshman of the Year this fall, started all 20 games for Minot State and led the team with 7 goals and added 2 assists.

Fried started all 20 games as well and anchored a defense that allowed just 10 goals all season and recorded 13 shutouts.
