Minot State Wraps Up Day 1 of NSIC Preview Tied for 10th

SMITHVILLE, Mo. – The Minot State women's golf team wrapped up the opening round of the NSIC Conference Preview tied for 10th place after posting a team score of 44-over 332 at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.

Leading the way for the Beavers was Lauryn Keller, who carded a steady 7-over 79 to finish the day in 17th place individually. Holly Knudsen followed with a 10-over 82, placing her in a tie for 34th. Zoe Banack (85), Taylor Cormier (86), and Abigail Goettle (102) rounded out the scoring for Minot State.
As a team, Minot State sits in a tie for 10th heading into the final round, with action set to resume at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Augustana holds the team lead after day one, finishing with a score of 17-over 305, while Wayne State's Camryn Johnson leads the individual field with an impressive 1-under 71.
With one more round to go, the Beavers look to climb the leaderboard and close out the tournament strong as they continue building toward the NSIC Championship in a month.
