Joey Schrader

Joey Schrader beings his 2nd season as a part of the Minot State University football program.

Pre Minot State Schrader was the defensive backs and special teams coach at Riverton High School in Utah, where he helped the Silverwolves to a Region 4 Championship and a No. 7 ranking in Class 5A.

He was the cornerbacks coach for Minot State head football coach Tyler Hughes at Snow College for one season, helping the Badgers to a No. 5 ranking in the NJCAA and a 9-3 record.

Schrader was Snow College’s video coordinator during his time at the school as well as an instructor in the fitness and health department.

He played strong safety for Snow College where he was an All-WSFL player and moved on to play strong safety and outside linebacker for Utah State University, where he finished with 32 tackles in his two-year career.

Schrader will primarily work with the Beavers defensive backs.
