Coach Njerakey joined the Minot State staff in the summer of 2023 as a graduate assistant coach for cross country.
A graduate of Walsh University where he was named Most Valuable Runner, Njerakey helped lead the Cavaliers to the NCAA Division II National Championship meet, finishing 62nd in the nation.
A four-year competitor in cross country and track and field at Walsh, he earned his Bachelors in International Relations and Government and Foreign Affairs in 2016, and since has worked as a mentor and lecturer for Good Samaritan Baptist Ministries, as a teacher for MPTC Education, and is a published novelist.
