Baseball Falls Twice on Wednesday

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minot State baseball team's eight-game win streak came to an end on Wednesday afternoon as the Beavers were swept in a doubleheader at No. 4 St. Cloud State in St. Cloud, Minn.
 
The two losses drop Minot State to 26-14 overall and 19-8 in conference play.

How It Happened
  • The Huskies plated its two runs of the game on a two-run home run in the first inning.
  • Andrew Black cut the deficit in half with a solo home run to lead off the seventh inning.
  • Jackson Pokorney followed with a single before SCSU retired Minot State on three consecutive strikeouts to clinch the 2-1 win.
