MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State's men's basketball team announced today that because of COVID protocols, the Beavers' weekend games at Southwest Minnesota State University and the University of Sioux Falls have been canceled. Following NSIC agreed-upon policy, both games will be ruled as "no contest" and will not be rescheduled.

Minot State was scheduled to play Friday night, Jan. 7, at Southwest Minnesota State, and at Sioux Falls on Saturday, Jan. 8.

Earlier this week, the Beaver women's basketball team also canceled their games scheduled at Southwest Minnesota State on Friday and at Sioux Falls on Saturday.

The Minot State men's and women's basketball teams are scheduled to return to action next weekend on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 14 and 15, as the Beavers host Augustana and Wayne State at the MSU Dome. The Beaver men host Augustana on Friday at 5:30 p.m., and Wayne State at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Minot State women host Augustana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, and Wayne State at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
