MINOT, N.D. – The top-ranked Beavers waited until the third period, then made a frantic push.
Spotting visiting Jamestown a two-goal edge, the Beavers waited until the final 10 minutes before turning it on and scoring a 5-2 comeback win over the 10
th-ranked Jimmies.

Drew Carter snapped the shutout with a short-handed goal for Minot State (8-0-0 overall) off a
Carter Barley assist, opening the floodgates with 8 minutes, 44 seconds remaining in regulation.
Connor Navrot then tied the game off assists by
Davis Sheldon and
Wayde Johannesson with 4:15 left, then the onslaught truly began.
Joey Moffatt broke the tie 59 seconds later, off another Johannesson assist, then Carter scored just 20 seconds after that off an
Eric Soar assist for a suddenly comfortable 4-2 lead.
To add some icing to the frantic comeback win, Carter scored an empty-net goal with 59 seconds left on the clock, finishing off a hat trick and a thrilling Beaver victory.
Jake Anthony earned the win in goal making 22 saves for Minot State, which next plays a home-and-home series against Williston State on Nov. 11 and 12, starting on the road Friday, Nov. 11.
