MINOT, N.D.- The Minot State University women's soccer team will have to face tough competition if they want to secure their first win of the season.
Minot State faces the 14th ranked Emporia State Hornets at the Herb Parker Stadium Sunday Sept. 4th at 1 p.m. before they hit the road for a contest against the Montana State-Billings Yellow Jackets Tuesday Sept. 6th with kickoff set for noon.Â
The Beavers will look to rebound after getting to 1 minute and 13 seconds of almost going 0-1 on the season. Thanks to the heroics of
Hadlee Paxman the Beavers instead are 0-0-1 after   going on the road to Spearfish, S.D. and tying the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets 1-1.Â
The Beavers are currently 0-1 against the Hornets losing by a 1-0 score back on Sept. 8th, 2017 here at the Herb Parker. While the Beavers will look to even up the series against MSU-B as they currently trail 1-2 against the Yellow Jackets with their latest matchup on April 3rd, 2021 a 4-1 decision to the Yellow Jackets.Â
Following the nonconference finale the Beavers will head back to the Herb to open NSIC play against a couple tough teams in the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on Friday Sept. 9th at 5 p.m. and against the St. Cloud State Huskies on Sunday Sept. 11th at Noon.Â
