MINOT, N.D. – Gabi Dawyduk led the way in the circle and helped out at the plate, dominating in the circle and adding an RBI as the Minot State softball team earned a split with visiting Winona State in NSIC action on Sunday at SCHEELS Complex at South Hill.
After dropping the opener 9-6, the Beavers (18-12 overall, 13-5 NSIC) rebounded with a 5-2 win in the nightcap.
Minot State now hits the road for an NSIC doubleheader Tuesday at Minnesota State Moorhead and a non-conference battle Wednesday at the University of North Dakota.
GAME 1 | Winona State 9, Minot State 6
MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State Beavers took a 4-3 lead into the sixth inning, but could not hang on and fell 9-6 to the Winona State Warriors Sunday.
Junior Reegan Floyd (6-5) got the ball to start for Minot State and took the loss.
