SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- It was a disappointing end to the baseball season for the Beavers on the road Saturday afternoon as Minot State struggled, falling to the No. 12 Augustana Vikings 12-2 despite the efforts of senior Ricky Apodaca, who went 1-for-3 with a double.
 

Sophomore Jonah Prokott (4-2) started and took the loss on the mound for Minot State (15-34 overall, 12-27 NSIC), which saw its season come to an end with the loss. Senior Noah Balandran was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit, walking none and striking out one.

Trailing 10-0, the Beavers first put runs on the board in the fifth inning. Minot State managed to push across two runs in the inning as Miles Iverson and Brent Riddle each had an RBI. The Beavers were unable to get any closer, as Augustana added two runs to their tally on the way to a 12-2 final.
