• Undefeated in his first season with the Beavers in 1959, the second year of existence for the program
• Ranks 19th all-time in career wins with 53 and has the highest winning percentage of any MSU wrestler with 30 wins or more, going 53-6 in his career.
• Won four conference wrestling championships and three state collegiate wrestling championships
• Helped Minot State win conference and state team championships in 1960 and 1962
• Named team captain in 1961 and 1962
