Minot State Football Looks to Get Back to .500 on Sunday

(MINOT, N.D.) -- Minot State University football is on the road this weekend, taking on Winona State University.

The Beavers have an opportunity to get back to the .500 mark with a win as they are currently 2-3 overall and in NSIC play. Minot State fell in a heartbreaker on homecoming last weekend as they fell due to a late touchdown scored by Southwest Minnesota State University.

Minot State and Winona State will kick-off Sunday, Oct. 13, at 12 p.m. in Winona, Minn.

Series History

In its brief history, Winona State leads the series 3-0.
The Warriors won the first matchup in 2013 by a score of 49-14.
Winona State also won the most recent matchup in 2017, 47-7.

Isaiah Bigby has been a leader on the defense with 34 tackles on the season, which places him in the top 20 of the conference. In addition, he is tied with Justin Coleman for the team lead in interceptions with two.
Tamrick Ross is tied for the lead in tackles for loss with 3.5 and also has 2.5 sacks.
