BEMIDJI, Minn.- A quartet of Beavers finishing in the top 10 at the 2024 Tracy Lane Memorial to help Minot State secure 3
rd place in the tournament hosted by Bemidji and concluded Tuesday at the Bemidji Town & Country Club.
Jaci Jones lead the Beavers finishing tied for 6
th place at 24-over 168 (82-82). Tied for 8
th place was
Holly Knudsen who shot 26-over 170 (83-87). Finishing tied for 10
th place shooting 27-over 171 were both
Zoe Banack (87-84) and
Lauryn Keller (85-86).
The Minot State women's team concluded the tournament shooting a team total of 104-over 680 (336-344).
On the men's side, the Beavers were led by freshman
Winston Grayson who completed the tournament in 9
th place, shooting 4-over 146 (71-75).
The men's team finished in 5
th place shooting 32-over 600 (300-300).
The host of the men's tournament, Bemidji State, won the men's team title shooting 6-over 574 (290-284). The women's title was won by University of Mary who finished with a team-total of 97 over 673 (333-340).
Rounding out the scores for the Beaver women were
Abigail Goettle finishing tied for 35
th shooting 44-over 188 (97-91), and for the men were
Jace Carslisle finishing tied for 17
th shooting 8-over 150 (75-75),
Zach Hendrickson and
Darien Herlick, who finished tied in 32
nd-place shooting 11-over 153 (78-75), and
Chase Gedak who finished tied in 41
st place shooting 13-over 155 (76-79).
The Beavers will be returning to the greens in Hudson, Wisconsin at the Troy Burne Golf Club for the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl on September 16
th and 17
th.
