HUDSON, Wis.- Four Minot State Beavers have played their way into the top-10 after the first day of competition at the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl. Included in this list is 
Holly Knudsen for the women and 
Max Karnik, 
Zach Hendrickson, and 
Chase Gedak for the men.
 
Leading the men's side for the Beavers is 
Zach Hendrickson, who shot an even-par 71 on the day and sits tied for 4
th place. Following Hendrickson is 
Chase Gedak sitting tied for 10
th place shooting 1-over 72. 
Winston Grayson is tied for 12
th place shooting 2-over 73, 
Darien Herlick is in 29
th place shooting 5-over 76, and 
Jace Carslisle tied for 46
th place shooting 7-over 78.
 
Playing as individuals are 
Max Karnik and 
Gage Olson. Karnik is currently tied for 4
th place shooting an even-par 71. Olson is tied for 73
rd place shooting 15-over 86.
 
After the first day of competition, the Minot State men's team currently sits tied for second place with Augustana shooting 8-over 292.
On the womens side, 
Holly Knudsen leads the Beavers sitting tied for 6
th place after day 1. Knudsen shot 7-over 78 on the day. As for the rest of the Beavers, 
Jaci Jones sits in 13
th place shooting 9-over 80, 
Lauryn Keller in 36
th place shooting 14-over 85, and 
Abigail Goettle and 
Zoe Banack are tied for 46
th shooting 18-over 89.
 
The women's golf team currently is in 6
th place shooting a total of 48-over 332 after day 1 of the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl.
 
The Beavers will return to the greens Tuesday morning at the Troy Burne Golf Club to finish up the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl.
